I am a Business Studies graduate with a major in Marketing. After working in the digital marketing business and experiencing quite a good stint at the corporate life at Affle, I decided to switch fields. I worked with She Says and then went on to pursue my post-graduation in Natural Resources and Governance.
Having worked with the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (AP) previously, I feel this fellowship gives me the opportunity to work at the most apt level in the governance hierarchy. Change can be both top-down and bottom-up. Working at the district level with institutional as well as people’s support, I think, can help plug the deficiencies lacking in both these approaches.
