I am an inquisitive development aspirant with a keen interest in the social sector which propelled me to get involved in the development story of the nation. Working and interacting with the communities in matters of mobilization, orientations and implementation of activities interest me the most. During my stint of two years in mainstream media, I have reported government policies and the implementation as journalist but was interested to know the theoretical and practical underpinnings of them. In addition, I am Development Studies graduate from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. My last organization I-PAC gave me the opportunity to know the roots of politics and understand how electoral politics functions in a vibrant democracy like India. My work experiences till date took me on an insightful journey to rural and urban India and have experienced the beauty it holds. Now as an emerging development professional, my career objective is to work with the projects aim to transform and revolutionize the society at grassroots.
Hailing from Uttarakhand, I am seeing this fellowship as an opportunity that would let me explore and learn the holistic community development tools which could be utilized in the development of my state as well.
