ISSUE: Poor teaching had been observed in various upper primary schools in Bastar of Chattisgarh state.The problem in many of the upper primary schools was that teachers were not able the deliver their subject part effectively one of the main reason for which was the scarcity of subject wise teacher in district.

WHAT WAS DONE: A district level team of science,maths and english subject teacher from each block is formed who will work together for capacity building of other teacher in block.

ROLE OF ADFs: organized meeting with teachers ,provide support from district level administration to scale up the process.

RESULTS: The result of this initative is very positive as now non subject teachers in district are teaching science, maths and english subject in classroom very effectivly as plc have helped them in their capacity building. From next session social science plc will also be started.
