Bio:
I hold a Masters in development studies and an M.Phil degree in Natural Resource Management, from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.
My interest lies with working directly with rural/tribal communities, rural collectivization, decentralized governance. So after completing my studies I got an opportunity to work for Foundation for Ecological Security in Madhya Pradesh, where I am closely associated with informal institutions related to forest and ecological governance. And afterwards I was associated with Jeevika in Bihar where I was part of the Women led FPOs for collectivizing and marketing the rural produce (Maize).
I believe AD fellowship is an outstanding platform where I can find my space to establish synergy between government and rural community. The aspects of citizen centric, data driven policy making, implementation and feedback incorporation always excites me and I believe its an important method eradicating rural poverty.
After completion of the fellowship, I will continue my work towards poor/marginalized centric and will ensure that the outcome of development reaches to the last Indian standing in the queue.
