Aakanksha Sharma, a Young Professional with NITI Aayog has been deputed to Ministry of Home Affairs for Transformation of Aspirational Districts programme. A member of LWRC Cell, she is responsible for supporting MHA in consultation with Tata Trusts in effective planning, implementation and monitoring of the programme.
Her interest in social and developmental activities has led her to choose Economics as the major subject in Under Graduate Programme at the University of Delhi followed by MBA (Natural Resource Management & Sustainable Development) at Amity School of Natural Resources & Sustainable Development (ASNRSD) and MPhil from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.
She has a good mix of academic and professional experience in different fields of natural resource management and rural development. Before joining NITI Aayog, she has worked with different consultancies and academic institution viz.
