I am Manjit Lad from Maharashtra. I have a B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering from MAU Parbhani (Maharashtra) an M.Tech and a PhD from IARI (Delhi) in Post Harvest Engineering and Technology. I have worked with MahaFPC for 1 year for market linkages of farm commodities and value additions of farmers’ produce. I have also worked in technology transfer, business development and market research at NRDC, Delhi for 1 year.
I belong to an agricultural family and have seen and experienced rural problems very closely. My educational qualifications and interests have made me work for farmers and rural youth. The AD Fellowship will give a boost to my enthusiasm. Also, the financial support will help me execute my plans for the betterment of rural population. The mentorship from district administration will definitely help me implement innovative ideas.
