Bio:
I come from Vasai, a town located at the suburbs of Mumbai. Living in a semi-urban setting, has shaped my personality with a perfect balance of modern and traditional values.
I prepared for the UPSC examination for 2 years and then joined Teach For India to get grassroot experience and apply my theoretical learnings. Being a teacher to 10th grades, has made me more empathetic and taught me to value human relations. My urge to seek new experiences and adventurous nature, landed me in Sukma, for an internship with Shiksharth.
I have done my graduation in Physics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. My Master’s degree in Political Science has acquainted me to different schools of thought. I wish to use my skills of strategic planning, vision setting, reporting, stake-holder investment and empathy while I work as an ADF. I want to work on Contextualising of Government interventions that will also help in preserving the local culture.
I plan to continue working in the development sector. I particularly aim to work in Public policy and its implementation. Social injustice breaks my heart and I persevere to work towards making the quality of life better, for even the under-served!
