Bio:

I have been looking for a career where I can make a wider impact in the society and make the earth a better place to live. I pursued MSW from Jamia Millia Islamia with my specialisation in development.

After my studies, I was selected by PRADAN and worked relentlessly in the tribal/rural belt of Jharkhand and Bihar. My life in PRADAN helped me work closely with communities in a rich experience environment and gave me a motivation to work for the communities in a meaningful manner. I have undertaken a number of prestigious national and international project assignments like NRLM, CFT, BMGF, NABARD and CLTS and have worked on issues around livelihood, women and governance in particular. I have played a key role in establishing a social enterprise named ‘Organicare’ which works on waste management and aims to promote vermicomposting as a potential rural livelihood option. I have also interned with organisations like EFRAH and CLRA.

I see AD Fellowship as a great opportunity to work in the most underdeveloped regions and being a part of the governance system.
