A political enthusiast, I am part of various formal and informal coalitions and organizations striving each day to make India and the world a better place to live in. I am someone who quests to be part of meaningful confabulations. A thinker who meditates on crumbled bits for hours. A folklore that lives to untangle the world. In addition to a masters in Social Work from Delhi University, I have 2 years of hands-on experience working on the theme of adolescent health and development – imparting social and emotional learning skills and building knowledge on reproductive and sexual concerns. I am also a Youth Accountability Advocate for monitoring and advocating for SDG 05 and FP 2020 commitments. Besides this, I seldom write for The Indian Express and Rising Kashmir.
Hailing from rugged terrains of Jammu and Kashmir, Aspirational District Fellowship is an opportunity that lets me explore holistic community development tools. My major take away from the fellowship would be to hone my skills further and learn and observe how government bodies work in such a hostile environment to make development a living reality.”
