Bio:
A masters in Journalism from SRM University, I also hold a master’s degree in Bharathanatyam. I was a 2014 Teach for India Fellow and worked in the slums of Delhi. After my fellowship, I joined EdgeMakers, an organisation striving to inculcate entrepreneurial skills in the children. I have been a consultant to Sterlite Power, where I interacted with workers in all the plant and project sites and designed their internal communications and trainings. As a consultant to the Government of Manipur, I trained Maths teachers in content and pedagogy.
I am passionate about the development sector and was waiting for an opportunity where I could explore domains others than education. Working with numbers has always fascinated me and working in a rural space is challenging. This excites me. My skills are project implementation and working with people, which I believe will be necessary while working in the district. I am a patient learner and look forward to make my learning curve strong.
