Bio:

After graduating in Sociology, I pursued my post-graduation in Social Work from University of Delhi. During my post-graduation I undertook concurrent fieldwork with Kat-Katha in projects related to health and education of sex-workers and their children. I also worked with Prayas Children’s Home.

Due to my interest in development sector I worked as a Young Professional with RGAVP- Rajasthan State Rural Livelihood Mission, as block project manager in Chittorgarh district for a year. There I worked with government departments and public institutions and contributed towards financial inclusion, convergence, capacity building, and training and skill development of SHGs. I then joined a start-up where I worked on financial budgeting and marketing. With an ambition of making an impact in the lives of individuals, groups and communities I wish to pursue AD Fellowship. This fellowship will provide me an opportunity to work in one of the most backward districts and give me an exposure of working with and in collaboration with the government under the guidance of prestigious institutions and personnel. The fellowship will help me strive for excellence by enhancing my skills and knowledge through letting me explore new and challenging areas of intervention. During my work in Rajasthan, I gained experience in strategic planning, relationship management and team management. All this will help me create an execution-able plan during the fellowship.
