Bio:

Born in Delhi and brought up in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, I moved back to Delhi for higher studies. I have completed my graduation from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. During the last year of my graduation, I got a chance to study about voluntary organizations across the globe. Thereafter, I developed an interest in social sector and completed my post-graduation from Delhi School of Social Work (DSSDW). During my DSSW days, I got a chance to work with leading organizations like NTPC & Tata Powers DDL as CSR trainee. I also worked in Delhi slum cluster for various government schemes.

As a social development professional, I have worked with SOS Children’s Villages of India on educational and behavioural development of orphan children. As I grew professionally, I joined the ZSBP initiative of Tata Trusts and worked for more than one and a half years for Swachh Bharat Mission and supported the district administration in achieving Open Defecation Free (ODF) status.

Aspirational Districts Fellowship is an opportunity to reach out to the ‘unreached’ and become a catalyst in holistic development of lives of people living in most backward districts. This will be an exciting and challenging opportunity for a young professional like me who has passion to work and courage to streamline the system which can create positive impact.
