Bio:
Academically I am a dentist. After passing out from SDCH, Rishikesh, I practised for a while in a private dental and Implant centre in Ghaziabad.
Reaching out to marginalised community and contributing in a larger form to the underprivileged section was something I always wanted to do professionally.
Driven by the intent of ” Do not complain. Contribute”, I started the SBI Youth for India Fellowship. I got associated with an NGO called BAIF Development Research Foundation and was placed in a small village called Eral in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. Here I got an opportunity to exercise my creative skills and through innovative ideas I worked on the overall health and hygiene aspect of Children, adolescent girls and women of the village.
I believe Aspirational district fellowship is an opportunity to further fine-tune my capabilities. This platform is one step forward towards learning and growing my skills.
It provides an opportunity to think out of the box and gives an exposure to the challenges of social sector. The fellowship has been structured for the people who have an intent of nation-building and wants to give back to the society; who are ready to adjust with the changing situations and who need an opportunity to exercise their leadership skills and at the same time know the importance of team work.
