Bio:
Born in Madhya Pradesh, I’ve had the opportunity to live in several places in the pursuit of work as well as education. An engineer by training with specialization in Electronics and Telecommunication, I obtained my Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai in 2017. I worked with The Hans Foundation for almost three years. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work PAN- India across diverse thematic areas such as inclusive education, sustainable livelihood generation, maternal and child health, water and sanitation.
Prior to that I was engaged in the ‘education & innovation space’ with a start-up, Proactive I, which strives to work on nurturing the capacity of both students and teachers in tier two and tier three cities. Working on a wide array of themes has truly been an enriching experience, however, it has also brought upon the realization that creating parallel systems is not a sustainable solution and focus should be on strengthening of the existing systems.
Aspirational District Fellowship would be an excellent opportunity to understand the functioning of the government machinery at the district level while contributing to generation of sustainable and scalable impact at the grassroots level.
