I did my Bachelors of Arts in Social Sciences from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Guwahati. During my graduation days, I had the opportunity to work for a month in Basix IGS, India for SAFAC Project.
Prior to under-graduation, I worked in Balivara OFFER for a period of one year (2011-12) as a resource mobilizer. Later on I actively volunteered for the organization.
I did my MSW (Livelihood and Social Entrepreneurship) from TISS, Guwahati. During my post-graduation I had the opportunity to work with various organization like Snehalaya (worked with children in slums), Jagori Grameen (SAFAL programme), Rangsutra Crafts India Ltd., (West Bengal project). I also had the opportunity to work with Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of Madhya Pradesh on Menstrual Hygiene Management and Women Empowerment for a period of one month.
After post-graduation, I worked as ‘Zlla Swachh Bharat Prerak’ in association with Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation & TATA Trust, 2017-2018.
I love to travel and that has taken me to various states and corners of India.
