Bio:
I am a Development Professional having completed my Post Graduation from Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal. Post that I have worked with Odisha Livelihoods Mission as a Young professional for two years wherein I had a hands-on experience of working on issues of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and integration of same with livelihoods. While working in the sector I have had numerous opportunities to work with community level institutions and understand the problems and challenges at the ground level as well as gaps at the implementation level, and design implementable solutions to overcome the challenges.
As an Aspirational District Fellow, I will have a unique opportunity to take a step towards bringing the holistic change at a large scale by working on diverse set of focus areas. The prominent aspect of the fellowship is the working in the Left-Wing Extremism affected districts where one can find historically few of the most secluded community of the country. This presents an exciting opportunity for the development on various fronts by utilizing my previous experience of working at the grass-root level. The fellowship will add diversity to my experience while at the same time help enhance my learning curve.
