After completing my BBA from Central University of Jharkhand, I pursued Masters in Social Work – Livelihoods and Social Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. I have more than 3 years of experience in the Corporate Social Responsibility sector and have worked in healthcare and housing projects for migrant construction workers which also included crèche and learning centre setups for their children; I also worked on formation and capacity building of SHGs and FPOs, linking SHGs with local livelihood opportunities, setting up skill training centres, implementing village development projects and MSME cluster development projects.
I am excited to join the AD Fellowship as this is the first time I will be working this closely with the district administration that too in LWE affected districts. During the Fellowship, I will try to assess the resources available in the region and see how to activate the inherent potential of the region through entrepreneurial and sustainable livelihood initiatives. I will try to accelerate development in the region through convergence and support to various initiatives of government and non-government agencies in the region.
