Bio:
When people ask me where I am from, I pause. I was born in Jharkhand, but I have spent my childhood in multiple cities owing to the transferrable nature of my father’s job. I have always enjoyed having this pan-Indian identity. The exposure to multiple cultures has influenced my personality in ways more than one. I carried these experiences into my UG. I am a Science graduate from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Allahabad, with a Master of Science with specialization in Environmental Science from the same University.
I have gained experience in the field of development sector in past 2 years by working in JSLPS as a Young Professional, for a Development Program named as SANSAD ADARSH GRAM YOJANA. I was posted in the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) of Bokaro district. Joining this program led me to work for the villages, strengthening government structures in areas such as Education, Social Security, Infrastructure, Health & Nutrition, livelihood opportunities, sports program and policy implementation. This is how my professional journey started. This experience was deeply enriching and humbling, and hence I would like to explore more in the same area.
Depending on my knowledge, skill set, expertise, and aspiration I hope to find a niche for myself in this fellowship in terms. I hope to act as a catalyst in the district administration of Ranchi. I hope to learn, unlearn and relearn. I hope to find and acknowledge my calling through the fellowship experience.
