Bio:
I hail from a middle class family, and made a humble start from my village. I always had an insatiable thirst for learning and through my hardwork and perseverance topped my zone in Class X. I went to National Institute of Technology Bhopal and later to Ashoka University for my higher studies.
My initial stint in the development sector was a summer internship of IIM Ahmedabad ‘Consumer Insight into Rural Marketing’, a case study on ‘Eradication of Child Labor’ (acclaimed in 2013 IIT Bombay Tech Fest), which got published in the journal Social Science Research Network by OIDA International Conference on Sustainable Development. My four years of college life at NIT Bhopal were transformational.
As an Associate at CENTA (Centre for Teacher Accreditation), I organised more than 100 information sessions and workshops for school teachers on excellent teaching practices. I also led the celebration and recognition of excellent teachers from across the country based on the result of a national competition Teaching Professionals’ Olympiad conducted by CENTA.
An avid reader of non-fiction and an amateur tennis player, I like to travel and am always ready with my backpack for the next unplanned trip. I believe that human minds can work wonders and there is no limit. Transforming Aspiration District Programme will surely help him me in my pursuit of pushing limits and would be an amazing learning experience.
