Bio:
I completed my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College and Delhi School of Economics respectively. As part of my masters degree,I interned with the Ministry of Finance. Post my studies,I started working with KiE Square Consulting, wherein my project work was with the Central Board of Excise and Customs.
Since I was in college, I have worked with various social organizations in various capacities.These experiences helped me realise how theoretical solutions to problems don’t always work on the ground. An intersection of various factors always influence solutions to problems,and the biggest issue in implementing solutions is often changing the mindsets of people you want to help. I have realized that the scale and reach of development work can be significantly greater when working with the government.
On account of all of these factors,and owing to my passion to bring about a positive change in the lives of people,I felt that ADF would be the perfect place to continue with my journey in the field of development.
