I am a proactive leader who wants to make a broad impact rather than just deliver results. I am a confident communicator with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. I was born in Tezpur, Assam and lived in various states – U.P, Haryana, Rajasthan and M.P.
Being an Air Force officer’s daughter, I am enthusiastic about using my skills and knowledge to yield fruitful results. During the final year of my B.Sc in Biotechnology from Birla Institute of Medical Research, Gwalior, I chose to pursue M.A in Development Studies from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. After finishing my studies, I worked as a Programme Manager in Mount Valley Development Association, Tehri, Uttrakhand. There I led the Girl Child Primary Education Programme. The experience enriched my understanding of issues on ground and helped me develop my managerial and leadership skills. I later worked as Zila Swachh Bharat Prerak under a joint initiative of Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation and Tata Trusts, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. I was accountable for coordination, management, monitoring & reporting and provided support to the district administration for effective implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin).
Aspirational Districts Fellowship will provide a platform where I will get a chance to bring holistic development. Only inclusive development can bring positive and qualitative change on field.
